In this solo show, I made autobiographical arts that reflect my life experiences of an immigrant artist in North America. Each sculpture is an abstract body that narrates my story or feeling.
“Armoured Heart”

Materials: Old Iranian rug, Steel, Encaustic
In this work, I reflected my heart after leaving my parents in Iran. I feel I have replaced my heart with an armoured heart.
“The Weight of My Dreams”

This art reflects my past memories of living in Iran, dreaming of the life of women who have freedom in selection of their outfits and social activities. steel is metaphorically the heavy weight of my dreams.
